The Watlow PM PLUS is backwards compatible with legacy EZ-ZONE PM controllers but offers many user upgrades including an intuitive menu flow allowing the controller to be easily configured. It also continues to offer the industry leading Bluetooth® connectivity with the EZ-LINK™ mobile app for remote access capability and full descriptions of parameters and error codes. The PM PLUS improves the user experience by reducing the complexity at the front of the control while eliminating the dependency of cables when configuring the product. Like the original EZ-ZONE PM, the PM PLUS can be ordered as a PID controller, or an integrated controller with multiple functions combined into one.

Are all the DIN sizes available in the PM PLUS?

Phase one is only the 1/16 DIN PID/integrated version, however, more information regarding the other DIN sizes will be coming soon.
Can I get Bluetooth® communication in the PM PLUS?

Absolutely! Our industry leading EZ-LINKTM mobile app will work with the PM PLUS when Bluetooth® is configured as an option.
Do I have to change my wiring harness when migrating from EZ-ZONE PM to the PM PLUS?

No, the PM PLUS is completely backward compatible with EZ-ZONE PM. Pinouts remain the same, so no wiring changes are needed.
Are my PID settings different in the PM PLUS?

No, the PM PLUS is completely backward compatible with EZ-ZONE PM. PID settings, as well as all other settings, are the same as EZ-ZONE PM.
Is the PM PLUS front panel removable?

No, the PM PLUS has a fixed front bezel improving the seal rating to IP67.
Can I get the PM PLUS in a limit-only version?

No, however, the PM PLUS is offered with an optional integrated Limit.
Is the PM PLUS offered in an express version?

No, an express version ordering option is not offered. The first release of the PM PLUS will be offered in full PID and integrated versions. Today there is the ability to reduce the menu for simplicity as an express menu structure.
Will the current EZ-ZONE PM still be available?

Yes, however, the PM PLUS is intended to replace the EZ-ZONE PM. Therefore, expect obsolescence to occur.
What software interfaces can I use with the PM PLUS?

The PM PLUS works with COMPOSER®, SpecView, EZ-ZONE configurator and the EZ-LINK mobile app.
