Metric tubular heaters are designed for international markets and applications.

Overview

Chromalox Metric Tubular Sheathed Heaters are capable of being formed into virtually any configuration.  Elements can be fitted with crimped, welded, brazed, or compression glands.  Custom built from 6mm diameter to 22mm diameter and up to 1500V.  Tubular Heaters are available in a variety of sheath materials with temperature capabilities up to 1600°F (870°C).

Applications

  • Diameters from 6mm up to 22mm
  • Stainless steel sheath materials include: SS AISI 304/304L, 309, 310, 316L, and 321
  • Nickel-based sheath materials include: Incoloy 800, Incoloy 825, Incoloy 840, Inconel 600
  • Voltages up to 1500V
  • Lengths up to 8000mm
  • Many different termination configurations  
  • Option for double insulation construction
