The ThinFlex Band Heater
is a step up in band heater design. The
thin profile makes the heater very
flexible - allowing the heater to be opened up
as wide or wider than the barrel and still
come in intimate contact with the
surface when clamped down. This ensures
no air gaps that lead to hot spots. This
feature, while leading to better
performance, makes two-piece heaters and
expandable heaters unnecessary. Also,
because the Thinflex has incorporated flanges,
installation is a one person job. |
