Since 1973 Hotset Gmbh located in Lüdenscheid, Germany has developed electrical heating elements for industrial applications.  These included High watt density cartridge heaters, Coil heaters, the Flexible Tubular Heater Hotflex ® , machine nozzles, nozzle heaters, thermocouples and temperature controllers. 

Some of the industries that use our products are the plastic processing industry, packaging industry, textile slitting and cutting, medical technologies, rubber processing, test and inspection equipment,  and foundry technology, but they can be used really anywhere the customer needs high heat in a small area.

Hotset has strived to stand for innovative and solution focused heating elements in addition to excellent customer service from the very beginning.

In 1986 Hotset Corporation was started in Battle Creek, Michigan as a Michigan corporation.  We are affiliated with Hotset Gmbh and is not a subsidiary.  Hotset Corporation has chosen to continue the business philosophy of being focused on the customers needs and to developing a product that performs.

In 1991 we started production to further expand our local abilities and to better serve the customers in the North American continent with a product and service tailored to their needs.  This expanded on the knowledge that Hotset Gmbh had in the electrical heating market and allowed us to personalize it to the customers in the USA, Mexico and Canada, India and various other South American countries.
