All
applications that require heat must be controlled. There are
two primary factors to look at when choosing your temperature
controller and/or sensor.
How
precise do you need the controller or sensor to be?:
Some applications can handle a bigger range of precision (e.g.
freeze protection) and some applications must be as precise
as + or - 1F (.55C) (e.g. CVD).
Where
will the controller or sensor be located?:
You will need to make sure that your controller or sensor
can handle the outdoor or hazardous-area conditions if that
is where it will be functioning.
Below
is a guide that will help determine the best controller or
sensor for you. |

Sensors
Automatic
On/Off Thermostat Temperature Sensor (TD Series)
Perfect for
freeze protection applications and where precision is not as critical.
Turns the heater on and off at predesignated temperatures.
